Happee Cone

Let me introduce one of my shop item " Happee Cone". I'm really happy coming up with this name because it's a truly happy moment for both mothers and babies when its time for a diaper change:) The outside material is organic cotton and the inside is fleece made out of organic bamboo and organic cotton. I love this inside fleece because it's so soft. Also there is no stitching inside to protect baby's skin. It's a perfect gift for mothers expecting a baby boy;)

Tote bags

It was a very warm day in San Francisco! It's really rare. Of course I went to the beach with my husband and Haru to take advantage of this nice weather:) The tote bags in the photos are from my web store and I also use them A LOT daily. The type design "on the go" is printed onto the organic tote bag from ECO BAGS. On the other hand, The bow-tie tote is made from scratch by me. It was nice and warm with no wind there. We had a great time. How was your weekend??

Etsy store now open!

Finally, my Etsy store is now open! It's a really tiny store, but I'm going to keep updating items and new designs. Hope you enjoy it:)

I'm also in the middle of creating my wild apple website. I uploaded the splash page that has links to the blogs. It seems like the website will launch a lot later than the Esty store though. I will announce it when it's ready:)

Etsy store coming soon!

My Etsy store will be opening on 21th of September 2012!!! I'm very excited that I can announce it now because it was kind of a long journey to get here. I'm releasing baby bibs, diaper backpacks, tote bags and so on... Most items are created by me with organic materials. I'm looking forward to seeing you at my store soon:)

Printing

I've been printing a lot recently. I'm using non-toxic water-based pigments for colors  which are all mixed by me. Small Ziploc containers are good to store pigments for now. They are stack-able and perfect for small runs like I do. However, repeat printing in two colors takes time more than I was expecting even if it's small run.  It will be a LONG process until I actually see my own products!

my little buddy

Today, I would like to introduce my little buddy.  He is a long hair dachshund named Haru(means Spring in Japanese), almost 3 years old. I work at my studio alone everyday, so he is a good listener for me. It's much better than talking to myself.

Right now, I'm preparing to launch my web site and a web store maybe before summer. and I would like to share my designs and products there. It's really overwhelming but exciting at the same time. And today, my screens are getting ready. I can't wait to print!
