My annual project
Making mini calendars has been my personal annual project since 2009. I send calendars to my family and friends as a holiday greetings. Around summer time, I start conceptualizing and sketching when I have time. And in the middle of December, I usually rush to finish it before new year. And I get lack of sleep lol... Everything is handmade, so it takes a lot of time. But I'm always very happy to see everyone using my calendar. I would like to continue this project as long as I can. My 2013 calendar which was designed with water color paint is almost ready to ship:)

Renegade Craft Fair in San Francisco
I went to the Renegade Craft Fair over the weekend. It was packed with so many people!! I had so much fun and was inspired by many artists there. Hopefully I could join the fair as a vender sometime next year. Here is one of the things that I bought for my husband. This is called magic wallet created by Ryan Hansen from Magic Industrie. His wallets are made from vintage books, so they are all one of a kind. I was amazed when he explained how it works and I had to get it lol... My husband always carries loose cash in his pockets even if he has a wallet. So I thought it would be a perfect one for him:) He loved it!!!

my new toy :)
I'm not a type of person who follows new technology. I still use my free phone from AT&T and of course it doesn't have a touch screen. It's been totally good enough for me. But since my husband gave me this (ipod touch) for a celebration present for opening my Etsy store, I've been enjoying my new toy A LOT. Now, I know how easy it is to text lol... I still don't feel like getting a smart phone though. I work from home anyway:)

Happee Cone
Let me introduce one of my shop item " Happee Cone". I'm really happy coming up with this name because it's a truly happy moment for both mothers and babies when its time for a diaper change:) The outside material is organic cotton and the inside is fleece made out of organic bamboo and organic cotton. I love this inside fleece because it's so soft. Also there is no stitching inside to protect baby's skin. It's a perfect gift for mothers expecting a baby boy;)

Tote bags
It was a very warm day in San Francisco! It's really rare. Of course I went to the beach with my husband and Haru to take advantage of this nice weather:) The tote bags in the photos are from my web store and I also use them A LOT daily. The type design "on the go" is printed onto the organic tote bag from ECO BAGS. On the other hand, The bow-tie tote is made from scratch by me. It was nice and warm with no wind there. We had a great time. How was your weekend??
